I have come up with a list of common questions to help answer your makeup questions - but of course if I haven't covered it, contact me and I'll be happy to help!
Are you a qualified Makeup Artist? Yes I am. I completed my Certificate IV in Makeup Artistry which is Nationally accredited. That was just the start - I have done many courses, here in Perth, over East and in New York. I keep on top of the makeup trends through education and training. I also have product and public liability insurance and take my profession seriously.
Are you a mobile makeup artist? Yes - I offer this service in Perth and will also travel. Information on pricing for location work will be provided to you.
Do you have another makeup artist that works with you? I can arrange for another artist to assist with larger bridal parties. I can go through these details with you to provide a personalised quote.
What is the best makeup for weddings and special events? I can't just give one brand as there are so many amazing products on the market today. But the old trust worthy ones are - Giorgio Armani (love luminous silk foundation), Face Atelier, MAC for their eyeshadows, Becca for the most amazing skin perfector highlighter, Urban Decay for their eye primer and "can not live without" "All Nighter Setting Spray"....the list goes on. Needless to say, I have a lot in my kit!
How do I get my skin wedding ready? ...or event ready? Having hydrated and clear skin will certainly aid in flawless makeup for your special occasion (but for those spots that pop up, great natural coverage will fix that). We have all heard it, but drinking lots of water and adding some lemon or aloe juice will help from the inside out.
Looking after your skin leading up to the day including the use of gentle exfoliators will certainly help to get that glowing skin!
Do you have EFTPOS? Yes - there is no charge for using a debit card, however there is a 2.3% surcharge for credit cards. Alternatively I can provide you details for a bank transfer.
Do you travel for makeup trials? Generally trials are held in Maylands - especially on Saturdays which are very popular. Travel can be accommodated but a call out fee will apply to take into account the extra time travelling to and from the studio.
